The FPSO was facing a water ingress issue: the hatch doors on deck were not watertight, and this posed a risk to the electrical equipment below.

Cold Pad designed a unique solution for this issue: C-CLAWs were bonded all around the doors to fasten an additional hatch door. To ensure watertightness, a seal was installed between the plate and the doors. The full system can be removed using manual trolleys and/or the crane of FPSO, ensuring the door can be opened even in the harsh conditions of the North Sea.
