Project Overview

We completed a structural repair on the deck of a TotalEnergies FPSO that was suffering from severe steel thinning. Together with the client, we co-developed and implemented ColdShield, a bonded structural repair, working directly with the onboard crew to restore the deck’s  integrity.
Because the solution required no hot work, the repair was carried out safely during ongoing operations, avoiding any production shutdown. As a result, TotalEnergies estimated savings of 100,000 barrels per day over 60 days.
