Sept 2022 – Dorsten, Germany – COLD PAD was delighted to attend the event organized by Monti & Oftec. This was a great opportunity to introduce our non-intrusive cold bonded heavy duty fasteners to several major global actors of surface preparation and steel structures maintenance. Our presentation raised much interests among participants, opening new perspectives and emphasizing the synergy of our expertise, with the ambition to offer the most relevant and efficient solutions to our customers in the offshore industry.

May 2022 - Europe – COLD PAD is proud to announce the successful completion of a job in an onshore tank farm. The scope consisted in the replacement of pipes supports located directly under vibrating pipe elbows. Client’s challenge was to replace their old pipe supports to avoid corrosion due to an excess moisture between the saddle and the pipe. Besides the challenge of intervention during live production (ATEX), the area happened to be extremely busy, yielding to a difficult access.

A NEW PHASE FOR LIFE EXTENSION OF STATIC PRESSURE VESSELS
March 2020 - as part of a CITEPH open innovation program, TOTAL E&P RECHERCHE DEVELOPPEMENT, SAIPEM SA and COLD PAD are entering a new co-development phase for structural life extension works on static pressure equipment and large process piping. The development is focused on an innovative and non-intrusive repair technique, called RSS (Reinforced Strap System).
